Happy New Year.
The transfer window is open and the Beckford stuff is racked up another notch. It won’t surprise my few regular readers to hear that my view is now he is entitled to talk to who he likes and also sign a pre-contract he should be shipped out forthwith. However in the meantime we will have to put up with a lot of press stories, some more accurate than others. If the “new Kewell” (and I don’t mean that in a nice way) gets his way quickly that will settle the nerves IMHO. Here is an example from the Daily Telegraph, note the “after Grayson gets a replacement” comment.
Meanwhile in other news: Leeds United are going up regardless.
