Lest we forget its less then 3 weeks ago Ken Bates told the Leeds United fans that Thorp Arch was a done deal….. we all know what happened next. His pathetic excuses not withstanding the whole episode, on top of his libel defeat at the hands of Levi, gave a suggestion of a man off his game. But of course when your as old and set in your ways as this glorified fund manager you still try and play the confident card. So it seems again on the issue of the “Fit and Proper Person’s” test which the club is having to do again due to Bates lying to a court. For me this is very simple, if he can pass the FL test he can’t pass the buck of misleading a court. He may be confident but not as much as I am that if one doesn’t get him the other will.
