Coming on top of Jermaine Beckford’s non involvement in last nights 2-0 victory against Oldham Athletic comes the following story involving Stoke City:

Now strangly enough despite feeling the PL would be so out of Beckford’s league (no pun intented) I can see why Stoke City might take a punt. As indicated a few times before, anything over £2.5m I’d snatch the hands off any club making that kind of bid. If last night showed anything it was we can survive and thrive without him.
